Dora the Explorer Video

Dora the Explorer videos are one thing I've found you can't safely watch on YouTube - there are plenty of Dora videos if you search for them, but they are often inappropriate edits or mashups unsuitable for kids.

Therefore, the place we turn to for safe kids videos is iTunes.

You will find Dora the Explorer videos, and many other TV Character videos for instant download at a very reasonable price.

You can also check out Nick Jr for clips and podcasts.

The 'podcast' section over at Nick Jr includes a few short Dora videos that you can preview on screen, such as how to Mambo with Dora and the Animal ABC.

There are also a selection of animal-themed 'Diego' videos too which also feature Dora, teaching simple Spanish words in the songs, e.g. 'Vuele' and 'Nademos'.

The process is laid out on screen in 3 Steps: pick which series you want (Dora or Diego), then preview the videos, then 'get'.

You can preview and download there and then or you can subscribe to the podcast feed and keep getting the Dora videos as new ones are broadcast (or have them sent to your ipod).

These podcasts are only short, but if you collect them all they would combine to a nice little mix to keep the kids entertained - and these downloads are legal ;-)
